No placement test, just a friendly conversation, and that's how the lessons continue…
We begin the first lesson with a warm conversation, not a placement test. Getting to know you as a person matters most to me, and only then, as a next step, do I want to find out what your wishes, ideas, and plans are when it comes to learning the language.
Every single lesson is full of conversation, with its topics, vocabulary, and grammar entirely shaped around you. Your source isn't a textbook, but the everyday moments of your own life, because it's you who has to hold your own at the doctor's, while shopping, at work, and so on. Your life creates these situations, not the table of contents of a language book. And I want to encourage you: you never have to feel lost in the German language jungle.
I'll show you everyday spoken German, and that's what we'll practice together. And if you need help with something specific, like an official letter you've received, we'll look at that together too.
Every lesson, I meet you exactly where you are on your language-learning spiral. If you've slipped back a little, we climb up together again, treading your path even more solid, and we repeat that as many times as you need. But you should know: on a spiral, there's never really a true backward slide.

German at Work
You speak confident English when it comes to your professional topics. But as soon as the conversation continues in German, in the corridor, in the coffee kitchen or in the team, you quickly feel unsure. That is exactly where I am here for you. In my lessons, you are welcome to switch to English at any time. I understand you and reply in German.
